About the role

Joining the team at Porter Equipment Australia Pty Ltd as a Field Service Technician, You will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to our clients' heavy earthmoving equipment and crushing and screening equipment. Also to include our own hire fleet across the region. This full time role is crucial in ensuring our customers' machines are operating at peak performance, maximising their productivity and uptime.

What you'll be doing
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance services on a wide range of earthmoving equipment
Diagnose and repair faults and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
Provide excellent customer service and technical support to clients
Maintain detailed records of all service and repair work undertaken
Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety regulations

What we're looking for
Qualifications: Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
Experience:



Minimum 1 years' experience as a field service technician in the earthmoving/construction equipment industry
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
Full driver's licence and ability to work flexible schedule as required
