We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer – Tailings to join the team in our Perth office, with proven experience delivering geotechnical solutions for tailings storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams to develop, optimise and deliver geotechnical design solutions
Plan and undertake site investigations
Contribute to and lead elements of detailed geotechnical design across a range of projects
Provide technical input into the design, assessment, and ongoing management of tailings storage facilities
Prepare and review technical reports, design documentation and calculations, ensuring alignment with relevant standards and best practice
Qualifications/Experience/Attributes
Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer
Good analytical skills
Knowledge of geotechnical design software will be viewed favourably but it is not essential (Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo etc.)
Experience working on tailings storage facilities.
Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
Current Australian drivers license
Combination of office-based and field-based work, ability to travel
