We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Officers to support individuals living in residential care settings. This rewarding role involves providing day-to-day care, emotional support, and guidance to vulnerable individuals including children, young people, elderly persons, or people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Provide daily care and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans
Assist with personal care, life skills, routines, and community participation
Maintain a protected, respectful, and supportive living workplace
Support residents with emotional wellbeing and behavioural needs
Administer medication in line with policies and training
Complete case notes, incident reports, and documentation accurately
Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and support services
Respond effectively to incidents, emergencies, and challenging behaviours

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Disability, Youth Work,



Aged Care, or related field
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
National Police Check and Working with Children Check
Current Driver’s Licence
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
A caring, professional, and resilient approach

Desirable Experience
Previous experience in residential care, disability support, youth work, or aged care
Medication administration training
Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred care practices
