About the Role

As Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the clinic, support staff management, ensure smooth patient flow, and maintain high standards across administration, compliance, and patient experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and experienced in medical practice operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily clinic operations and workflow
Coordinate rostering and staff scheduling
Support GPs and nurses with operational needs
Monitor billing, Medicare compliance, and practice systems
Oversee accreditation and compliance requirements
Maintain excellent patient service standards
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff training
Manage stock ordering, suppliers, and clinic facilities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the practice

Skills & Experience




Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a senior medical administration role
Solid understanding of general practice operations and Medicare billing
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with medical practice software (Best Practice)
Robust organisational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
