Our centre operates as a Montessori Kindergarten Long Day Child Care and is located in Langwarrin. The position is available for the candidate that has a desire to further their skills and knowledge in the childcare industry. You will be working in a supportive environment with experienced educators.

About you
You will be expected to embrace the Montessori Pedagogy and core values when working with the children, including a willingness to undergo training and attend workshops if requested.
You will:

Possess the industry-standard police check, work with children check, first aid, food handling.
Have excellent classroom management skills.
Be eager to invest your own time into the personal study with a desire to take your career to a higher level.
Have a passion for achievement and satisfaction in teaching children during their most precious years.
Be prepared to work shifts according to rostered hours from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Have a reliable vehicle and must be within easy commuting distance to the outer South-Eastern suburbs (maximum 40 minutes travel time).
A Montessori background is desirable
Experience in working with children with additional needs
If you have experience in another discipline such as music, dance or creative arts this would be seen as favourable.
Trained to care for individuals with Special Needs would be beneficial, but not essential.
