Minimum Requirements.
Hold a current and appropriate heavy vehicle driver’s licence for the role.
Have a safe and responsible driving record and be willing to provide a current driver history report if required.
Robust literacy and communication skills are essential, including the ability to accurately complete documentation, follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Demonstrate relevant heavy vehicle driving experience, preferably with similar vehicles and combinations.
Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening
Provide relevant references and employment history and successfully complete any required pre-employment checks.

Demonstrate a professional attitude and appearance when representing the company at customer and supplier sites.
Be able to complete daily pre-start inspections and identify or report vehicle and equipment defects.
Maintain a high standard of vehicle care, cleanliness and presentation.
Demonstrate safe load restraint and load security practices relevant to the freight being transported.
Complete required transport documentation, run sheets, manifests, delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
Follow company WHS, safety, compliance and operational procedures at all times.
