Managing the financial heartbeat of our construction projects, you will oversee day-to-day accounting, monitor project costs, and ensure smooth cash flow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional looking to grow within the residential construction industry.Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end project accounting, including job costing and variance analysis.
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
Process accounts payable, subcontractor claims, and accounts receivable.
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS)



and monthly IAS.
Maintain general ledger integrity and complete bank reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow and assist management with budget forecasting.
Coordinate with project managers to track construction spend against budgets.

Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA / CPA qualification (completed or currently progressing) is highly regarded.
Previous experience in construction, property development, or building industries is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and construction management software is preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors, and site staff.
