Apax Stone Projects Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable tiling labourer/apprentice to join our team in Townsville on casual, ongoing work.
Whether you're already experienced or looking to build your skills, this can be a work-and-learn chance — earn while you learn on the tools alongside experienced tilers and grow your trade with us.
What we're after:
Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (required)
Previous tiling experience on the tools
Current driver's licence — own reliable car preferred
Based in or around Townsville and able to get to job sites
Robust work ethic — punctual, reliable and ready to put in a solid day
Great team player who works well as part of a crew
The role:
Wall and floor tiling on residential/commercial jobs across Townsville
Prep work, waterproofing support, mixing, cutting, cleaning and general site duties
Casual employment to start, with a paid trial so we can see how you work
A genuine work-and-learn pathway — develop your tiling skills and progress with the team
What we offer:
$30 per hour
Paid trial shift
Ongoing casual work for the right person
On-the-job training and mentoring to help you build your trade
