About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with Australian public practice experience who enjoys working directly with clients, delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns
Prepare journals, reconciliations and working papers
Liaise with clients and the ATO
Assist with tax planning and compliance matters
Provide support and guidance to junior team members
Build and maintain solid client relationships
Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major
Completed or partially completed CA/CPA studies
4+ years' experience in Australian public accounting
Robust knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting principles
Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks is highly regarded
Excellent communication, organisational and client management skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
