Payroll Specialist - APAC

A leading global technology organisation is seeking a Payroll Specialist (APAC) to join their collaborative payroll team.
This role offers the opportunity to deepen your exposure to regional payroll operations while managing a high-volume Australian payroll environment. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery.
This position will suit a payroll professional with strong end-to-end Australian payroll experience who is curious about stepping into a more global payroll setting.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing within a high-volume setting
Supporting payroll operations across APAC jurisdictions
Managing reconciliations, variance analysis and payroll reporting
Ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and statutory requirements
Partnering with internal teams and external providers
Supporting payroll process improvements and system efficiencies
Handling complex payroll queries and escalations

Payroll Environment




Monthly payroll of approximately 1500
Hybrid working model
Spreadsheet-driven payroll validation processes
Exposure to regional payroll operations

About You
Robust end-to-end Australian payroll experience
Experience working in high-volume payroll environments (500+ employees)
Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)
Solid tenure demonstrating reliability and ownership
Understanding of Australian payroll legislation and state-based differences
Robust attention to detail and ability to manage complex payroll queries
Experience or interest in APAC payroll operations will be highly regarded.
