Role Summary

We are seeking a Trade qualified Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter based in Preston, Victoria to support our manufacturing line. The role requires experience in a quick‑paced environment and availability for occasional after‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and checks according to work orders.
Execute overhauls of site equipment such as pumps, agitators, conveyors, mechanical filters, printers and label applicators.
Provide breakdown maintenance: identify issues and repair equipment as required.
Assist with machine set‑up, adjustments and change‑over.
Prepare workshop works for the next preventive maintenance cycle, overhaul and change‑over.

Qualifications
Successfully completed Mechanical Trade Certificate III – Fitter and Turner/Machinist.
Robust troubleshooting, repairing and hands‑on fitting skills.




Experience maintaining production line and processing equipment such as pumps and conveyors.
Basic TIG/MIG welding and machining experience.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, reliable, team‑oriented.
Robust commitment to safety and good communication skills.
Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
