Job Description
We are seeking Occupational Physicians to support our health assessments team to oversee and provide quality assurance to occupational medicine services provided by Cogent to key clients, within the Aviation and Emergency Services sectors. A local presence in Sydney is required, however the opportunity to virtually work with customers nationally also exists.
A summary is provided below but is not limited to:
Reviewing completed medical results after a candidate has attended a network medical provider for assessment
Classification decision based on Medical Standards
Request for further information i.e. specialist reports in order to make a classification decision
If required direct contact with the candidate for complex cases
Attend meetings with key stakeholders as a cooperative team member
Support customer relationship development and satisfaction.
Qualifications
The key attributes we are seeking are:
Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (RACP) with valuable standing
Unrestricted/unconditional AHPRA registration as a Specialist Occupational Physician
You must be an Australian citizen
National Police Check
Experience with emergency services and/or safety sensitive industries.
Friendly, approachable and open to feedback.
Preferably based in Sydney
