Location & Salary
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
A$132,000.00 – A$144,000.00 per annum
Responsibilities
Detailed concrete and steel design, including interaction with drafters to produce models and documentation in line with QA compliance
Concept studies, including estimating quantities and preliminary designs
Assist with construction enquiries, including safe lifting and erection
Interface with other engineering disciplines, including electrical, process and mechanical
Focus on technical innovation and continuous improvement
Office‑based position in Brisbane with short‑term site visits required
Qualifications
Bachelor of Civil (Structural) Engineering
Strong desire and willingness to develop a career within the metals and minerals processing industry
At least 2‑3 years’ experience as a structural engineer in design,
consultancy or operational workplace
Previous minerals or metals industry experience highly regarded
Ability to safely and effectively self‑manage time, priorities and activities
Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills
