We are seeking an experienced Fridge Mechanic/Electrician to join our team on Fitzroy Island, Queensland. This permanent, full time role is essential for maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our maintenance operations and enhancing customer satisfaction through reliable service. Daily commute from Cairns provided – we’ll cover your ferry transport.

Responsibilities:
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems and electrical components.
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
Install current refrigeration units and electrical systems as required.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.




Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with other team members to improve service delivery and efficiency.
Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.

Qualifications:
Relevant trade qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning or electrical engineering.
Proven experience as a fridge mechanic or electrician, preferably in a similar industry.
Solid understanding of refrigeration systems and electrical circuits.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
