Lead Innovation in Palliative Care

About This Role

The Brisbane South Palliative Care Cooperative is looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to lead statewide palliative care education, quality improvement, research and digital health initiatives to improve end‑of‑life care across Queensland. This is a temporary part‑time position, 15.2 hours per fortnight, for a 12‑month contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities
Lead and deliver statewide palliative care improvement projects.
Develop and deliver evidence‑based education and training.
Provide expert clinical advice and consultancy across health‑care settings.
Drive quality improvement, research and evaluation initiatives.

About You
Registered Nurse with advanced palliative care expertise.
Robust leadership, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience delivering education, quality improvement or research initiatives.
Excellent communication, critical thinking and cooperative practice skills.

About the Organization

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health‑care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. It hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute, and a new Clinical Research Facility for testing TRI discoveries in a safe clinical environment.

PAH is expanding with recent beds, modernised buildings and planned services for kidney and cancer patients to open by 2027.
