Salary and Advantages

Package valued up to $182,461. Base salary ranges $101,122 to $160,983, with leave loading and superannuation contribution. Benefits include school holiday leave, travel allowances, fitness program, and indemnity insurance as a psychologist.

Responsibilities

Provide counselling and psychological assessment of students, complementing teachers to strengthen learning and wellbeing outcomes, and assist families with children’s mental health and learning needs.

Collaborate with school communities, colleagues, and outside agencies as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Participate in individual and group supervision, and professional development activities.

Specific Selection Criteria
Experience in counselling using evidence‑based interventions with children and young people.
Experience in psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.




Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes for diverse students.

Conditions
Registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Valid unrestricted provisional or full driver’s licence and willingness to travel between worksites.
Eligibility to teach under the Teachers award; ability to commence application for teacher approval if not already approved.
