Full-Time Fixed Term contract role
Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing the assigned payroll on time and in an accurate manner.
Process all employee movements including details for recent employees, terminations and transfers.
Calculation and administration of entitlements under various Awards and Industrial Instruments.
Ensure compliance with industrial instruments and relevant payroll legislation.
Award and EBA interpretation.
Continually review and recommend improved processes to increase efficiencies.
Ensure confidentiality of payroll and employee related personal information.
About You
You will be an experienced Senior Payroll Officer with knowledge of statutory payroll requirements, understanding of legislation requirements and salary packaging. Experience will also include:
Proven experience in a large multi-site and multi-agreement payroll workplace
Proven ability to interpret industrial instruments
Experience in LSL legislation and calculations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders within the organisation
Payroll integration experience
Termination and redundancy calculations
Reconciliations
PAYG Calculations and payments
Payroll systems knowledge such as Preceda, Kronos preferred
