We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Catering Assistant to play a key role in our early‑morning breakfast service. If you’re someone who enjoys starting work early this could be a great fit!
You’ll be part of the team that prepares, sets up and delivers breakfast service, ensuring food is ready on time, presented well and served safely. After breakfast, you’ll support kitchen and dining operations including food prep, cleaning, dishwashing and pack‑down.
Hours
Monday 7.00 am to 12.00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday 5.30 am to 12.30 pm and Friday 5.30 am to 10.30 am
What you’ll be doing
Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
Serving meals with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Maintaining clean, organised kitchens and dining areas
Washing, sanitising and storing dishes and equipment
Helping set up and pack down service areas
Following food safety,
allergen and hygiene requirements
What we’re looking for
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
Experienced in catering, hospitality or food service
Reliable, punctual and happy to roll up your sleeves
Knowledgeable about food safety and dietary requirements
Friendly, positive and customer-focused
What you’ll need
Legal right to work in Australia
A current (or willingness to obtain) Working with Children Check
A commitment to child-safe principles, food safety and WHS standards
