An exciting opportunity within a privately QLD owned civil construction company who focus on delivering a range of projects within resourcing, roads, bridges / structures, construction, utilities, and urban projects. This contractor has a reputation as a reliable and fair contractor who maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and clients.

This Supervisor will work on a local project in Hervey Bay – projects range anywhere from $5M - $20M across subdivision or road projects. You will help ensure that daily production targets are met while ensuring a secure working workplace. You will have experience managing a direct workforce with demonstrated skills in daily and weekly planning.

This role will suit an experienced Supervisor looking for a new challenge within the civil construction industry. Reporting to the Project Manager, your duties will include:




Planning for all resources included plant, labour, materials and subcontractors
Site management and construction of civil works
Program management
Client and stakeholder dealings
Conduct pre-starts and weekly toolboxes
Ensure that all work is in compliance with workplace health and safety
Prepare reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, personnel forecasts, and expenditures forecast
Monitor the activities to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules

We are ideally looking for a Site Supervisor with over five years relevant civil infrastructure (earthworks, drainage & pavements) experience, across local Australian projects, including DTMR or similar.

Work with a reputable contractor who take care of their staff and have a good culture. Future projects may be in surrounding regions.
