Our Clerkship Program

For a head start in your legal career, apply for a clerkship in our Brisbane office. You’ll work alongside experienced lawyers, gain first‑hand insight into the work of a lawyer at Allens, and contribute to real matters while supported by a partner, senior lawyer, and a junior lawyer.

We offer clerkship programs across two periods—one over summer and one over winter—to coincide with university holidays.
Summer: 16th November – 11th December 2026
Winter: 14th June – 9th July 2027

Clerks gain:
a personalised induction program
on‑the‑job training with support from a partner, senior lawyer and a junior lawyer who act as your performance coach, development lawyer and buddy, providing guidance, feedback and coaching
learning opportunities across practice areas and partners, as we don’t work in silos

Eligibility and Requirements

Applications are open to students in their penultimate or final year of a law degree.
