These are ongoing workshop-based prospects offering immediate starts with a well-established company in Thomastown.

Assemblers: $38/hr + penalties
Electrical Trade Assistants: $42/hr + penalties
Monday to Friday | 6:00am–2:00pm

Switchboard Assemblers

Working within the production team, you'll assemble switchboards and switch room components for large-scale data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble industrial switchboards and switch room components
Cut, bend and install heavy copper busbar
Read and interpret assembly drawings
Use hand and power tools safely
Maintain high-quality workmanship

Electrical Trade Assistants





This role is ideal for experienced Electrical TAs or overseas qualified electricians with switchboard experience.

Key Responsibilities
Install heavy copper busbar systems
Read electrical plans and schematics
Assist with switchboard assembly
Support qualified tradespeople
Maintain a protected and organised workshop

About You

Switchboard Assemblers
Experience in switchboard or metal assembly
Hand and power tool experience
Copper/busbar experience highly regarded
Basic maths and measuring skills
Own PPE and basic hand tools

Electrical Trade Assistants
Switchboard or electrical workshop experience
Ability to read electrical drawings
Copper/busbar experience preferred
Overseas electrical trade qualifications highly regarded
Own PPE and basic hand tools
