UGL Industrials has an opportunity for Mechanical Fitters with power station experience to join our on‑site maintenance team. This position will support the site in day‑to‑day maintenance activities over a 4‑day week (36 hrs). You will have the option to participate in outages for additional overtime and development opportunities.
This is a residential role with no living‑away‑from‑home provisions or facility for non‑local employees. Local applicants from the Nanango / Kingaroy region are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & Experience
Previously worked on a power station (preferred)
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter, Fitter or Fitter & Turner
Construction Industry Induction (white / blue card)
High‑risk work licence – LF, WP preferred but not essential
Nationally accredited Working at Heights certification valid within 3 years
Nationally accredited Confined Space certification valid within 3 years
Driver’s Licence
Ability to work effectively in a small team
High levels of attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Great time management skills
A rigorous pre‑employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be conducted for short‑listed candidates.
