We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our salad processing facility in Wacol. In this hands‑on and rapid‑paced role, you will use your electrical expertise to maintain, troubleshoot and improve the performance and reliability of plant and equipment across the site.
You will provide versatile, high‑quality support to production by carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown maintenance, while ensuring all established health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
About The Roster
Rotating roster: 4 days one week / 3 days the next
Night shift: 5:00 pm – 5:00 am and day shift 5:00 am – 5:00 pm available

Duties
Ensure compliance with One Harvest safety, health and environment requirements
Proactively identify & coordinate preventative maintenance across the site
Responsible for completion of planned maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are prioritised to meet production needs
Provide technical support & training to machine operators for basic troubleshooting
Provide detailed account of all work performed and logged in our CMMS (Mex)
Support continuous improvement/project implementation
Investigate plant or equipment deficiencies that lead to out‑of‑spec finished goods
Assist with ensuring BRC and other standards are met

Able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude coupled with a outstanding work ethic
Fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician
Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs, equipment failures & fault finding
Able to repair, change and improve machinery while ensuring principles of HACCP & GMP are not compromised
Sound understanding of pneumatic systems, electrical drawings, PLC controls, variable speed drives and general mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
