About the Role: Specialised Laboratory Soil / Rock Testing Technician

As a permanent member of our laboratory operations team, you’ll conduct specialised soil and rock testing procedures and collaborate with colleagues. Construction Sciences offers more than a job; it’s a platform for growth, providing stimulating laboratory-based work and a long-term career.

Responsibilities
Conduct daily soil & rock testing procedures, adhering to industry standards
Generate comprehensive client test reports
Support the setup and maintenance of equipment
Utilise exceptional organisational and problem‑solving skills to address challenges effectively
Maintain a customer‑centric approach with a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding client needs
Liaise with clients when required

About You
Knowledge and application of soil or rock testing methodologies and industry standards




Certification such as Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (or equivalent), highly regarded
Exceptional organisational and problem‑solving abilities to address challenges effectively
A customer‑centric approach with a robust commitment to meeting and exceeding client needs
A dedicated focus on safety protocols
The capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team
