Bateau Bay Medical Centre is looking for a friendly, organised and patient-focused Casual Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team.

About the Role

This is a casual position offering approximately 2–3 days per week , with additional shifts available to cover annual leave and sick leave.

Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service
Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment book
Answering and directing phone enquiries
Processing patient payments and Medicare claims
Maintaining accurate patient records using Best Practice software
Assisting GPs, nurses and the practice team with administrative support
General reception and administrative duties

About You

We are looking for someone who has:




Previous medical reception experience (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust organisational and multitasking abilities
High attention to detail
A skilled, reliable and friendly manner
Confidence using computer systems and learning recent software
A genuine commitment to providing exceptional patient care
