Job Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based psychological care to individuals experiencing sleep difficulties and co‑occurring mental health conditions.
Conduct assessments and provide therapy, primarily using CBT‑I, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness‑based approaches and other evidence‑based modalities.
Develop and lead group therapy sessions as part of the Institute’s treatment options.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of sleep physicians, psychologists, respiratory specialists and allied health professionals to provide integrated care.

Qualifications
Relevant qualification in psychology.
Full registration as a psychologist or clinical psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Eligibility for a Medicare provider number to offer rebated services.
An Australian Business Number (ABN) and professional indemnity insurance.
High standard of ethical practice and commitment to ongoing career development.
Experience in behavioural sleep medicine and CBT‑I, or willingness to develop expertise in this area.





Desirable Attributes
Previous experience working in a health psychology setting and/or private practice.
Familiarity with ACT, EMDR, mindfulness‑based approaches, or other evidence‑based therapeutic modalities relevant to sleep and mental health.
Interest in contributing to research, program development, or training initiatives within the Institute.
Registered as a Psychologist for workers compensation.
