Role Description

The Florist Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Adelaide, SA. This role is responsible for leading the florist team, coordinating daily workflows, and ensuring high standards in floral design and presentation. Day-to-day tasks include creating and supervising flower arrangements, managing stock and supplies, setting up in-store floral displays, and overseeing decoration for special events and seasonal promotions. The Florist Team Leader will provide guidance and training to team members, support customer consultations, and ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.



This role also involves collaborating with store management to maintain merchandising standards and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications
Strong skills in Flower Arrangements and Floral Design, with the ability to produce high-quality, consistent work
Demonstrated Creativity Skills and an eye for Decoration, including themes, colors, and visual merchandising
Proven Customer Service abilities, with experience assisting customers, taking orders, and providing product recommendations
Experience leading or coordinating a small team in a retail or florist workplace
Good organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple orders and deadlines
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and peak trading periods as required
Knowledge of flower care, handling, and storage; formal training or certification in floristry is an advantage
Transparent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and management
