Casual Boilermakers & Fabricators – Townsville

Pacific Marine Group (PMG) is a leading marine contractor based in Townsville, recognised for delivering high-quality marine maintenance, construction and commercial diving services across Northern Australia and the Pacific region.

Due to an increase in workload, we are seeking experienced Boilermakers and Fabricators to join our Townsville workshop on a casual basis.

About the Role

Based from our well-equipped Townsville workshop, you'll be involved in a broad range of fabrication, maintenance and marine infrastructure work supporting both internal and external projects.

This is a hands-on role suited to experienced tradespeople who enjoy variety, quality workmanship and working within a collaborative team setting. Depending on operational requirements, there may also be opportunities to support site-based and remote project work across Australia and the Pacific region.

No two days are the same, with exposure to structural fabrication, vessel maintenance,



heavy equipment and marine infrastructure projects.

What We're Looking For
Relevant trade qualifications
Experience in structural and/or maintenance welding
Exposure to aluminium fabrication and welding highly regarded
Ability to interpret and work from fabrication drawings
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Solid commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Willingness to support project work and travel when required
