Cannington Physiotherapy are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team of 12 Physiotherapists and 2 Remedial Massage Therapists. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in remedial massage techniques and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our clients.
There is a large client base, so the position is busy, we do require Saturday morning availability, however we are flexible with work hours to suit your lifestyle.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of client's needs and develop customised treatment plans
Administer remedial massage techniques to address muscular tension, pain, and dysfunction
Educate clients on self‑care techniques and exercises to support their treatment progress
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality
Requirements
Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy
Registration as a Remedial Massage Therapist (with the Australian Massage and Myotherapy Association) that allows private health fund claiming
Suitable visa that allows work in Australia
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to ongoing career development and learning
Applicants must be available for most Saturday morning shifts.
