We're seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business on an initial 3-month contract with a genuine opportunity to transition to a permanent position.
Working Monday to Friday (7:00am – 4:00pm, with an early finish on Fridays), you'll be part of a close-knit team fabricating high-quality trailer chassis, security boxes and canopies. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for long-term stability, a supportive workplace, and the chance to further develop their skills.
Duties
MIG welding and fabrication of trailer chassis, security boxes and canopies.
Read and interpret workshop drawings and specifications.
Carry out boilermaking and general fabrication work to a high standard.
Perform TIG welding on aluminium (advantageous but not essential).
Maintain a secure and tidy work environment.
Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production deadlines.
Skills and Experience
Trade qualified Boilermaker,
or a minimum of 5 years' welding/fabrication experience.
Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills.
Experience working in a manufacturing or workshop setting.
TIG aluminium welding experience is highly regarded.
Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential.
Reliable, motivated and committed to producing quality workmanship.
