This organisation is seeking experienced APS5–APS6 Procurement & Contracting Officers to support the delivery of end-to-end procurement activities across a diverse portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end low to medium-risk procurement activities
Develop procurement plans and Spending Proposals
Prepare RFQs,
RFTs, RFIs and other Approach to Market documentation
Conduct market research and supplier analysis
Coordinate and lead evaluation processes
Prepare evaluation reports and approval documentation
Engage with internal stakeholders to define procurement requirements
Support negotiations and contract establishment
Maintain procurement records and audit‑ready documentation
Ensure procurement activities comply with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
Skills & Experience
Previous procurement experience within the Australian Commonwealth Government
APS5: 1–2+ years' procurement experience
APS6: 2–5+ years' procurement experience
Solid knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Strong report writing and documentation skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
