The Role:
As an Orikan Parking Officer, you'll be the face of local mobility.
Every day, you'll help improve parking equity and public safety by:
Patrolling designated areas to monitor parking compliance across
Issuing infringement notices in line with Victorian road rules and the aligning council regulations
Explaining road rules to residents and visitors
Recording enforcement activities and keeping accurate logs
Reporting incidents, hazards, or public safety concerns
Representing council with professionalism, honesty and integrity

Key traits we are looking for include:
A robust sense of fairness and respect for community needs
Resilience and diplomacy in challenging interactions
Integrity and sound decision‐making under pressure
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Basic computer literacy and strong interpersonal skills
Current driver's licence (preferred – dependent on client requirements and location)
Experience in customer service or enforcement (preferred but not essential)
A willingness to learn the ins and outs of road safety and parking regulations
Flexibility to work across a 6‐day rotating roster (Mon–Sat, 8am–10pm)
Occasional overtime may be required (hours vary depending on client requirements)
Weekend and shift allowances where applicable
