Role Overview:
As our Yard Supervisor, you will oversee the organisation of our yard, manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, and ensure the efficiency of our day-to-day processes.
You will need to take initiative and responsibility over our yard and logistics operations.
Reporting to our Operations Manager your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver outstanding products and services to our valued clients.
What You'll Do:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, count monthly stocktakes and initiate timely orders to ensure materials availability.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with our delivery teams to ensure on-time and accurate product shipments to clients and job sites.
Yard Organisation: Implement best practices to streamline yard layout, storage, and equipment management.
Quality Control: Oversee the inspection of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintenance:



Coordinate maintenance of equipment, tools, and vehicles to uphold efficiency and safety.
Goods inwards/outwards handling: Handle goods coming into the yard/warehouse recording items in and placing in appropriate locations.
Handle outgoing goods loading our in-house truck and couriers with material including preparing and collecting goods from the yard for outward freight.
Materials Handling: Handling the majority of raw materials for the fabrication team picking from stock and racks to the fabrication workshop including finished product such as panels and gates.
Qualifications and Experience:
Forklift ticket with Excellent Forklift Skills & Experience
LR/MR license truck preferred but not required
Previous experience in yard management, logistics, or a related field.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of fencing materials and construction processes is a bonus.
