Registered Nurse – Calvary Home Care, Port Augusta
Port Augusta, SA, Australia – Permanent position.

As a member of the Calvary Home Care team and an experienced RN, you will provide care to high‐acuity clients from various short‐term/long‐term programs.
You will provide complex care to all clients by working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Administration of IV, IM, SC, and PO medications
IV cannulation
Provide complex wound care
Accurate and timely documentation in all client records
Appropriate communication within the clinical team to ensure care is provided
Complete initial assessments and develop care plans to ensure best outcomes for clients
Monitor and update care plans to ensure appropriate care is provided
Deliver education to clients and families to enable best possible outcomes
Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration, with appropriate escalation
What You Bring
Current AHPRA Nursing Registration
Willingness to obtain appropriate checks – NDIS and Police Clearance
Use of own car – kilometres allowance provided
Full driver's licence
CPR and manual handling qualifications
Minimum 1 year acute experience
Understanding of the community nursing sector – Home Care Packages, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably
