About the role
We are supporting an 18 year old girl livingin their own home in theMandurah areaand are seeking anexperiencedFemale Disability Support Workerto provide hands-on support, supervision and mentoring.
This position involves intimate personal health and hygiene care and support and is exempt under the WA Equal Prospect Act as a genuine occupational requirement.




Ideally,the successful candidates will have extensive experience workingwith young people in a highly trauma-informed way and be able to follow and contribute to positivebehavioursupport plans.
The role is based both in the home and in the community, working alongside other key support staff.

Support periods are:
Thursdays:8am to 2pm
Fridays (Alternating):6:30am to 10am; 2pm to 8pm (Week 1); 8am to 2pm (Week 2)
Saturday (Fortnightly):8am to 2pm
Selection Criteria
Experience workingwith youth in a highly trauma-informed way.
Experience working with and contributing to positive behaviour support plans.
Applicants must have or be able to obtain before commencing the following:
Driver's license and own vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check
NDIS Worker Orientation modules:
Working with Children Check (WWC Check)
