Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Fabrication and welding of new road transport equipment.
Fabrication and welding of existing transport equipment (on-road and off-road) required to be repaired, modified or refurbished.
Perform Welding tasks as required - MIG, FCAW.
Skills and Experience required
Hold a trade qualification in Vehicle Body Building, or demonstrates extensive experience in manufacturing road transport equipment - Semi-trailers, Light Rigids.
Skilled in interpreting fabrication drawings and applying instructions for repair and refurbishment work.
Experienced in the manufacture of transport equipment,



with a solid understanding of transport‐equipment structures and mechanical functions - Hydraulics, Pneumatics.
Light Rigid chassis extension experience - is an advantage.
Out of the box thinker with the ability to diagnose faults/errors and provide or seek solutions.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, where required.
Motivated & team orientated attitude.
Contribute to a healthy, safe and "can do" work environment.
Forklift licence required.
