Contract up to 12 months
Full time (76 hours per fortnight)
Nine-day fortnight option available

About this position
The City of Gosnells is seeking to appoint a proactive Rates Officer to join its Financial Services Branch on a 12-month contract.
Reporting to the Coordinator Rates, this role assists with the levying and collection of rates, as well as maintaining the City's property database and rates valuation register.
What we are looking for
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills,



with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Well-developed time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
Ability to work effectively in a small team, exercising initiative and sound judgement to proactively contribute to the business unit
Essential requirements
Current National Police clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but willbe required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
