Job Description
As an Apprentice Signwriter, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn all aspects of the trade. You will assist with the production and installation of signs and graphics while developing valuable practical skills through on the job training.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the manufacture and installation of signs and graphics
* Prepare materials and tools for sign production
* Learn to operate signwriting equipment under supervision
* Measure, cut and apply vinyl, paint and other signage materials
* Assist with the installation of signage at customer locations
* Maintain a clean and organised work setting
* Follow workplace health and safety requirements
* Care for and maintain tools and equipment
* Work with qualified signwriters to complete projects on time
* Develop new skills and techniques through ongoing training

* Completion of secondary school or equivalent
* A valid driver's licence is desirable
