The Opportunity
Brisbane IVECO (Wacol) is one of Brisbane's leading truck dealers, specialising in IVECO Trucks and IVECO Daily Vans.
We are now seeking motivated Apprentices to join our **** Intake across:
· Heavy Commercial Vehicle (Diesel Mechanic)
· Light Vehicle Mechanic
· Auto-Electrical
This is a fantastic opportunity to "earn while you learn" — combining formal TAFE training with on-the-job experience in a professional dealership environment.
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside qualified technicians and learn how to:
· Inspect and diagnose faults using the latest test equipment
· Disassemble, overhaul, and recondition vehicle components
· Replace parts and perform scheduled maintenance
· Carry out repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
· Read and follow job orders accurately




· Maintain a safe and tidy work workplace at all times
· Be part of a rotation, working at satellite workshops around Brisbane on afternoon shift
You will report to the Service Manager and Workshop Supervisor, working with highly skilled and supportive technicians who are committed to helping you succeed.
Key Attributes
We are looking for candidates who are:
· Genuinely interested in mechanics and commercial vehicles
· Positive, motivated, and keen to learn
· Able to work well in a team and follow instructions
· Reliable and safety-conscious
· Hold a current driver's licence (preferred but not essential)
· Work experience in a mechanical setting (highly regarded but not essential)
