Raytheon Australia is the Principal Contractor for the Naval Communication Station Harold E Holt (NCSHEH) located in Exmouth, Western Australia.
The company provides services for the maintenance and operation of critical defence infrastructure including the Space Surveillance Telescope, Very Low Frequency (VLF) Communications Transmitter, and C‐Band Radar Tracking Radar.
We are currently seeking a motivated Mission System Supervisor – C‐Band Radar to lead and manage a diverse team of trade and technical professionals.
The role requires overseeing day‐to‐day operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring that performance metrics meet contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the C‐Band Radar at HEH and allocated resources to achieve contract performance targets in accordance with contracted requirements.
Lead and collaborate within a cross‐functional environment, managing resources and reporting to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.
Ensure that Quality & EH&S; standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies.
Plan, schedule and manage maintenance requirements and requests in accordance with program priorities.




Monitor and control maintenance activities to ensure completion within schedule and required quality outcomes.
Practice excellent stakeholder management to maintain effective relationships.
Act in accordance with company expectations regarding professional workplace behaviour.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Experience in Trades, Electronics or Engineering disciplines working with complex industrial or defence systems.
Minimum 3‐4 years of supervisory experience preferred; a highly competent tradesman or technician will also be considered.
Previous experience working on high‐power devices viewed favourably.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controller systems (PLC) and ladder‐logic diagnostics.
Robust knowledge of PC hardware, networking and peripheral computing equipment, including data networks.
Eligible to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance; eligibility may be found at ag for ITAR material access compliance.
