About The CompanyThe Information Systems and Technology (IS&T;) Service supports the frontline policing and corporate operations of SAPOL through the provision of ICT infrastructure and communication platforms, operational software applications, and support services.
The Service is responsible for driving the ongoing evolution of ICT capability across SAPOL, through the delivery of high-quality ICT change programs.
The Service is structured across four core pillars: Strategy, Innovation and Engagement; Program Delivery; Operational Services; and Security and Assurance.
The Service extends from traditional ICT services to encompass a specialist radio and technology capability, including laser and radar calibration services.

Role Overview
The ASO4 Executive Project Officer provides executive and project support to the IS&T; Senior Leadership Team.
This is a varied and quick-paced role where no two days are the same, combining executive administration, governance, coordination and project support.
You'll manage calendars and correspondence, coordinate meetings and committees, prepare reports, presentations and briefing papers.
You'll also contribute to research, data analysis and minor projects that improve systems, processes and the overall effectiveness of the Service.
Success in this role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders.
You'll enjoy juggling competing priorities, solving problems, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring the leadership team has the support they need to deliver strategic outcomes.




Essential Requirements
Demonstrated experience providing executive or senior administrative support in a complex organisation.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong written communication skills, including preparing reports, briefing papers and professional correspondence.
Experience coordinating meetings, governance forums, agendas, minutes and action tracking.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research, interpret information and provide practical recommendations.
Experience supporting projects or continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build productive working relationships across all levels of an organisation.
Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative and maintain discretion when handling confidential information.
Special Conditions
The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Salary
ASO4 - $82,212 - $86,180 per annum.
