Firmus Groupis seeking a skilled and trade-qualifiedBoilermaker / Fabricator Welderto join our growing team.
This is a hands‐on role performing new fabrication, vehicle body building, and installation work on a wide range of specialised heavy vehicle mobile plant, truck‐mounted bodies, and equipment across various makes and models of light, medium, and heavy rigid trucks, prime movers, and trailers.

Your Role Will Include
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Weld components in various positions using MIG, TIG and stick processes
Perform fabrication, installation and modifications of tuck bodies and mobile plant equipment




Determine welding methods and prepare components according to specifications
Assembling heavy and light steel structures
Working to a high quality with a high level of attention to detail
Work collaboratively with internal departments
Comply with WHS procedures
About You
Trade Qualified in Fabrication or equivalent industry experience
Boilermaker trade qualification is required
Proven welding and fabrication experience
Minimum 3-5 years of heavy fabrication and welding experience is required
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions
Robust understanding of welding producers
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong problem‐solving skills and proactive approach to work
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility
Australian citizenship is required for this position
Licensing and Tickets
Essential - Current Driver's License
Preferred - Forklift License, Overhead Crane
