About the role
ROWJACK Commercial Cleaning is seeking a dedicatedCleaner for Educational Facilitiesto join our team on apart-time basis.
This role is based inBeldon WA ****and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining clean, hygienic and safe learning environments for students and staff.
As a Cleaner for Educational Facilities, you will play a vital role in ensuring that schools and educational institutions maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, which directly impacts the wellbeing and productivity of the entire educational community.
What you'll be doing
Performing daily cleaning and sanitisation of classrooms, corridors, bathrooms and common areas within educational facilities
Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
Using appropriate cleaning products and techniques to remove dirt, stains and contaminants from various surfaces including floors, walls, windows and furniture
Emptying and replacing waste bins and disposing of rubbish in designated areas
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and kitchen areas to maintain hygiene standards
Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or hazards to management immediately
Adhering to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Following environmentally responsible cleaning practices where possible
Being flexible with cleaning schedules to accommodate educational facility operating hours
What we're looking for
Previous experience working as a cleaner, ideally in an educational, commercial or hospitality environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team




Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderately heavy items
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work part time hours consistently
Knowledge of safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one) is highly desirable when working in educational facilities
Flexibility to work during school hours and potentially during school holidays
Basic numeracy skills for measuring cleaning products appropriately
