Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Test Lead based in Perth location.
The Automation Test Engineer will have an understanding of testing robotics and/or control systems.
Responsibilities
Hands-on experience in creating test automation for web applications and API testing in Robot Framework using Python for a microservice platform.
Developing an Automation framework.
Designing, developing, and executing integration, system, regression, and performance tests.
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and scenarios for verifying solutions and functional requirements.
Expertise with writing test cases, manual testing and testing processes (STLC) and familiarity with performance & load testing tools
Working experience of GitLab, JIRA and Confluence
Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers to refine verification processes
Qualifications
Proven 8+ years' experience as an Automation Test Analyst or similar role.
Experience with integrating automated tests into the delivery pipeline.
Proven ability in implementing automation frameworks from scratch with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of system verification and validation methodologies for microservices running in Docker environment
Proficiency with testing tools, data analysis software,



and simulation environments.
Developing and implementing test plans, procedures, and scenarios for verifying solutions and functional requirements.
Expertise with writing test cases, manual testing and testing processes (STLC) and familiarity with performance & load testing tools
Working experience of GitLab, JIRA and Confluence
Proven 5+ years' experience as an Automation Test Analyst or similar role.
Experience with integrating automated tests into delivery pipeline.
