The Prospect:
We are seeking aSupervisor - Packagingto join our Packaging team based in Panorama!
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor and Packaging Site Manager, you will lead a designated production area, coordinating, supervising, supporting and training employees to deliver quality outcomes, meet production targets and exceed customer expectations.
As a people-focused leader, you will play a vital role in supporting employees with disability to build skills, increase independence and achieve their NDIS goals within a safe, supportive and inclusive workplace.
You will also oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring safety, quality, housekeeping and operational performance standards are consistently maintained.
Thispart-time (0.84 FTE)position operatesMonday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (32 hours per week)and is based at Bedford's Packaging site in Panorama.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach and support a team of employees, including people with disability, to achieve production and individual development goals.
Coordinate day-to-day packaging operations to ensure production targets,



quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met.
Oversee employee training, performance and workplace development, supporting the achievement of NDIS goals and outcomes.
Maintain safe work practices, quality systems and housekeeping standards, ensuring compliance with WHS, ISO and Bedford requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, resolve operational issues and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
About You – The Ideal Candidate:
Proven leadership experience in a packaging, manufacturing, warehousing or distribution environment, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
Experience with machine set-ups, troubleshooting and quality management systems, supported by strong mechanical aptitude
Positive, resilient and empathetic leader who is passionate about supporting people with disability to achieve their goals.
Forklift Licence and disability sector experience highly regarded
Current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
