Trade Assistants Workfast Townsville, Queensland, Australia
Workfast is currently seeking Skilled Trade Assistants based in Townsville who are willing to travel for a major project in Mt Isa.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work in a key regional mining hub, supporting experienced trades across a variety of civil and infrastructure project duties.
Successful candidates will have prior experience in civil construction and/or mining environments, with strong hands-on site experience assisting trades.
Duties will include general labouring, site preparation, material handling, assisting concreters and other trades, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment at all times.
You must be reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in remote site-based conditions.
A willingness to travel and commit to ongoing project work is essential.
We are looking for candidates with:
Previous experience in mining or civil construction environments
Strong hands-on experience supporting trades on site
Good safety awareness and ability to work in remote locations
Willingness to travel from Townsville to Mt Isa and commit to ongoing work
