The Role
Are you a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking to break into the mining industry?
We're seeking trade-qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters to join our growing Queensland team.
Whether you're coming from civil, agriculture, transport, construction or heavy equipment backgrounds, we'll provide the training and support to help you transition into mining.
You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on large-scale mining equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr machinery.
DIDO (Drive in, drive out) and local opportunities are available across Southern Queensland.

What We're Looking For
Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
Experience working on heavy diesel equipment (mining experience not essential)
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Commitment to working safely and as part of a team
Manual driver's licence
Full Australian working rights
Willingness to obtain a Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (if not already held)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
