About Our Client
Our client is a global leader in equipment, technology and services for the mining and aggregates industries.
Based in Forrestfield, their busy manufacturing workshop is seeking experienced tradespeople and operators to join a safety‐focused and supportive team.
About the Roles/s
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Boilermaker/Welders
Plasma Cutter Operator
These are Monday‐to‐Friday day‐shift roles, with standard hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Due to current workload, regular overtime is available and shifts are often extended to approximately 4:30 pm.
Weekend work may also be offered.
Key Responsibilities
Boilermaker/WelderComplete repairs and fabrication work on heavy industrial equipment and components.
Remove, repair, fabricate and install wear liners.
Perform welding, cutting, grinding and general workshop duties to a high standard.
Plasma Cutter OperatorSet up and operate a Kinetic plasma cutting machine.
Interpret drawings, select materials and accurately cut components to specification.
Use TouchCut programming to prepare or adjust cutting jobs where required.
Complete quality checks and maintain a clean, protected and productive work area.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Boilermaker/WelderCertificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Demonstrated repair and wear‐liner experience within manufacturing, mining or heavy industry.
Plasma Cutter OperatorProven experience operating and cutting with a Kinetic plasma machine.
TouchCut programming experience is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work accurately to measurements.
Strong safety awareness, reliability and an exceptional work ethic.
Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends when required.
Boilermaker/Welder applicants must be willing to attend a site meet and greet and complete a weld test.
