Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
Safely and efficiently operatefront-end loadersto move, load, and stockpile quarried materials.
Operatedump trucksto transport materials around the site as directed.
Conductdaily pre-start checks, inspections and routine maintenanceon equipment to ensure safe operation.
Load trucks and feed processing equipment with material, ensuring production flows smoothly.
Production & Site Duties
Assist with excavation, material handling, excavation loading, and other quarry tasks.
Support the team in meetingproduction targets and quality standards.
Followsite procedures and safety policiesat all times.
Safety & Cleanliness
Maintain aclean and protected work area, reporting hazards or issues promptly.
Report any faults or mechanical issues to supervisors.
Comply with allworkplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience operatingfront-end loadersanddump trucksin a quarry, mining, construction or similar environment preferred.
Strong understanding of quarry operations and materials handling.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting targets and quality expectations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety & regulatory compliance.
Relevantoperator tickets/licences(e.g., Heavy Rigid (HR) or plant licences for loaders and dump trucks) are highly desirable.
