Protech is looking for electricians and electrical Technical Assistants with data centre experience for work in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
About the role:
– Casual roles starting ASAP
– Day shifts working Monday to Friday, possible Saturdays
– $45ph-$55ph + super + penalties + travel
Key Responsibilities:
Experience in communications, electrical, data cabling, or similar technical environments is essential for the role
Install and support communications infrastructure in data centres
Read and interpret project drawings and documentation
Fibre and copper cable installations and terminations
Work collaboratively with project teams
Follow all site safety procedures and industry standards
You will have:
Cert III in Electrotechnology (preferable)
Solid understanding of data cabling standards and industry practices
White Card (essential)
Current Driver's Licence
Strong communication and problem‐solving skills




Commitment to quality and safety
Ability to work independently and within a team
